October 2026 – F1 circus comes to town, and with it Uncle Gill and his partner Dana. I’m worried about their cat Eddy and Dog Ollie, but I can’t worry about too much as I have to plan a culinary extravaganza around the hectic F1 schedule.
These are the evolving requirements:
- Chili crab
- Black pepper crab
- Fancy kbbq
- Breakfast prata
- Dosa @ Little India
- Dim sum Ladies
- Sushi train
- Chicken rice/laksa/soup tulang and other hawker center delights
- Frog legs (after race Sunday night would be cool)
- Kaya toast(heavenly Wang or not)
- Din Tai Fung
- Fancy buffet
- Red Star Dim Sum (push carts)
- Niningbashi Izakaya
- Some random Bak Chor Mee (Tai Hwa) they saw on some random travel show…
